Temudo, a defining artist in Portugal’s techno movement and co-founder of Hayes Collective, takes the reigns again with 'Meteora'. Known for his releases on Klockworks, Blueprint, and Soma, he reaffirms his status as a modern reference in club music, bridging audacity with sharp emotive undercurrents.
Meteora exemplifies effect through restraint, combining the intrigue of mental soundscapes with the reliability of imposing rhythm. The title track sets the tone with deliberate micro-transitions and interlaced textures, embodying techno’s ability to convey both attitude and emotion. "When I Grow Up" shifts focus to physicality and groove, layering warped tape modulations over crisp percussion for a hypnotic effect.
As the EP unfolds, "Vrthng" injects euphoric momentum into a minimal Berlin-inspired framework, proving that pushing boundaries can yield deeply expressive results.
